Don’t Say “I wish I Had”, try to say “Im glad I did”!

Hey there!

Hi, I’m Joanna Hogan, I am 31 years old. I have been married to my best friend and love of my life for 13 years Branden Hogan. We have been blessed with two beautiful little girls, Adriana who is our oldest, she is 11 years old and our youngest Analisa who is 9 years old. I am passionate about cake decorating, and anything that involves baking pastries. I also love anything artistic, whether its kids crafts, drawings, sculpting, painting, writing, home decor. Our family enjoys doing anything outdoors, or any fun game board nights as long as we stay busy we are all happy. I’ve started this blog to remind me to appreciate the little things in my life, my hope is to document not just the perfect moments but also the real struggles of being a busy mom, whose in school full time, and trying to manage a household. I feel beyond blessed that I am able to go to school and be there for our girls for every sporting event, PTA event, homework nights, etc. However doing all of this can be straining at times, and because of the stress and the constantly being on the go I think that we as parents forget the good parts of the days because we are so overwhelmed. I want this to be a place where people feel safe and not judged on the struggles; but rather feel a comfort in knowing that you aren’t the only one who forgets to appreciate the little things. Thanks for visiting!

About Me

Hi Everyone, my name is Joanna Hogan. Just to give you a little information about who I am and what I used to do before moving to Sanpete County with my family. I used to work for a bakery for most of my life, cake decorating, pastry making, baking, etc. To eventually being a manager which I loved, but honestly there’s always a holiday to which you have to work. The hours are crazy and are always inconsistent, school has always intimidated me especially when it has come to math. I struggle with numbers, and get such high anxiety when it comes to tests. My husband has encouraged me for so long to go back to school and earn my associates, and I finally have. School is something I don’t want to fail at, I want to be able to show my daughters why college is important, and that they can do anything that they set their minds to. No matter what challenges they face they can overcome it. I’ve started this blog to document the everyday struggles being a mommy, wife, and going to school full time. I want to remember the little things that I don’t remember throughout my busy days, and stop to make time for the most important things in my life, My family.
